The Five Bridges
How the third servant becomes the first — one crossing at a time.
The idea
Nobody leaps from
buried to fruitful.
In the parable, two servants put their Master’s money to work and one buried his. Between where that third servant stood and where the first one stood, there is a distance — and most teaching treats it like a single jump: just have faith, just start, just trust God.
But the servant didn’t bury the gift in one step, and nobody unburies one in a single step either. When you look closely at the story, the distance breaks into five short crossings. Each one fixes one specific thing — a belief, a fear, a scorecard, an isolation, a standstill. Small enough to actually cross. Real enough that crossing it changes everything downstream.
That’s the whole framework of this house, and the spine of the weekly teaching: five bridges, not one gate. You don’t need to cross them in order, and you don’t need to have crossed the first to step onto the third. Wherever you’re standing, one of them is in front of you.

What you believe about the Master decides what you do with the deposit. A hard master produces a hidden gift; a good Master produces a trading servant. The wound from earthly masters was real. The transfer of that wound onto God is the error.
